Angels are one of God's best creations. They are God's Staff. They neither sin nor waste any time. They eat not nor sleep. And they don't grow old or decay. The Angels are created from light -- and some of them have the the power to shape-shift(coming down on Earth as people, etc) They're part of the pillars of Islam -- and anyone who doesn't believe in them cannot be a believer. One Must believe in God, His Angels, His Books, His Prophets, the Last Day and Fate to be Muslim.

Angels do everything that go around the universe. Some are only suppose to inspire the Prophets, as God says "He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: 'Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me.'" [Quran 16.2] Some take the soul out of the body, as God says "Say: 'The Angel of death who is given charge of you shall cause you to die, then to your LORD you shall be brought back." [Quran 32.11]

Angels even fought with the Believers against pagans and the nbelievers, God relates "when you sought aid from your LORD, so He responded to you: 'I will assist you with a thousand of the Angels following one another.'" [Quran 8.9]

Some Angels write people's sayings and actions -- all day long, forever. We are taught this in the Quran: "Noon. I swear by the pen and what the angels write," [Quran 68.1] Some humans make the Angels to be females and males. This is pure Unislamic. Angels are come down any form they want. So, obviously, people who say they are either males or females will be questioned about that: "And they make the Angels, who are the servants of the Beneficent God, female (divinities). What, did they witness their creation? Their evidence shall be written down and they shall be questioned!"[Quran 43.19]

Blessed is the God who created such beings! Glory be to Him!
